Bus Ministry - Our bus ministry currently runs 2 busses, one to Louisiana, and the other to Bowling Green. Each week, these busses bring in people into the House of the Lord for Sunday School and Morning Worship. We praise the Lord for drivers and workers who serve each week on our busses. If you live in these areas and would like to ride the bus to church each Sunday morning, please notify the church. Simply click the "contact" button at the top of the page for ways you may reach us. We would love to have you.
Children's Church Ministries - Our Children's Churches take place during the Morning Worship Service at 10:45am. This ministry consists of three levels; 2's & 3's children's church, 4's & 5's children's church, and 6-12 year olds children's church. Of course, there is music and games, but our main purpose is to teach our children about Jesus and the Word of God. Our prayer is that many if not all of our kids will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior. We really appreciate all who serve in theses ministries because they dedicate their time to helping our kids. Thank you workers!!

Church Activities - Throughout the year, our church is involved in yearly activities and ministries. These activities give the church opportunities to reach out to our community and also provide times for our people to fellowship. We are thankful for each one of these opportunities that God provides.
Ladies Ministry - The Ladies ministry is a relatively new ministry in which the ladies in our church meet monthly for a time of food, a devotional, and fellowship. The ladies are involved in planning special events throughout the year. In December, they had a wonderful time at their Christmas party. They are also involved in encouragement ministries in which they put together encouragement bags and baskets for those who are sick or struggling. We thank the Lord for each lady involved in this ministry and look forward to many more coming to be a part. |

Men's Ministry - This ministry is just getting off the ground. We are starting monthly prayer breakfasts to encourage men to come together to pray and for fellowship. Future plans will include Men's Bible Studies, Men's Cookout, and service opportunities for men.

Missions - Our church still supports missionaries around the world. We believe it is part of the Great Commission of the Bible which states "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15). We currently are able to support 26 missionaries or agencies. We praise the Lord for each of our missionaries because for many, it is a tremendous sacrifice to be where they are in their service for Jesus. We want to impact the world for Jesus from Louisiana, MO. and missions is a wonderful way to do so.

Music Ministry - Our music ministry is mainly based upon the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ and for the encouragement of His saints. Our Music Ministry is not for entertainment, but for ministry. Our Music Director leads our congregation with hymns from the hymnbook, and our musicians and soloists are careful to make sure the focus of the music is upon the Lord and not upon themselves. We praise the Lord for each vocalist and musician that takes part in our Music Ministry and for our Music Director that leads us in worship.

Nursery Ministry - The Nursery Ministry is a ministry that is very precious. It is a ministry that allows ladies to be temporary "moms" and "grandmas" to the infants that are brought to church. These ladies have the opportunity to love these little ones and minister to them by singing to them, or just letting them know that Jesus loves them. We thank these ladies for their faithful service to our church during each service.

Nursing Home Ministry - This precious ministry takes place once a week at a
nearby nursing home. What a blessing it is to visit, sing, teach, and even go down
"memory lane" with these dear people. Many are Christians who just cannot
physically go to church, so we bring church to them. We are thankful for each
person who attends and we are thankful that these sweet people allow us to come
to their home.

Preaching Ministry - At FBC, we strive to bring messages that are Biblical that bring forth the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that edifies the saints, and encourages spiritual growth. We take the matter of preaching very seriously. Our pastor's style of preaching is firm, but loving. He has a desire to see souls saved and to see Christians grow. Please pray for our pastor.

Special Classes - Throughout the year, we will be offering special classes to teach and equip the church in various ways. For example, this Spring, we will be offering an Evangelism Class to teach and train those who want to learn how to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will also have a class on Visitation that will instruct on how to make visits to hospitals, nursing homes, door to door, etc. Others will be added later.

Sunday School Ministry - Our Sunday School Ministry currently consists of 7 classes from our Nursery through our Adults. We meet at 9:45am every Sunday morning and we have a class for you. Our prayer is that each class grows so that we may add more classes. This ministry focuses on the teaching of the Word of God. Each of our teachers are special to us and we love them dearly. Thank you teachers.

Teens Ministry-The teen ministry is an exciting ministry where we are training our teens in the Word of God. Although activities are fun, our main focus is the Word of God. Teens need to know how to face the world as Christians and how to serve and live for God. We love our teens and we are thankful for them and those that teach and train them.

Web Ministry - This is the newest of our ministries at Faith Baptist Church. Recently, Pastor Davis asked a question to the church "How can we reach out to Louisiana, the surrounding towns and cities, and then the world.?" Acts 1:8b states "ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Here at FBC, it could mean in Louisiana, Pike county, surrounding towns and cities, and the world. Missions is one way that we are fulfilling that command, but this website can also be a means to reach out to everyone. It is our prayer that this site will be used for the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for His glory , for encouragement, to share burdens, and to provide information about our church.
